A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic YPW to extend their experience into partnership working in a new project.
The young person’s worker will contribute to the project by focusing on:
• Using their skills and passion to promote young people and families’ voices within complex situations in organisations, and:
• Using their skills in engaging young people and enabling them to access services in line with the network’s plan.

The post is based in the innovative Network Plus project, working systemically with families and their professional networks, looking at joint working in complex situations, and supported by the Early Help Service in South Cambridgeshire.
The project aims to address networking dilemmas for children and young people shared by the local authority and child and adolescent mental health services in Cambridge. Children are most likely to be children looked after, Children in Need, or who are in Child Protection services. The project hopes to learn about what can be achieved when evidence suggests network working might be most effective, such as those with complex trauma and who may not necessarily respond to traditional CAMH treatment pathways.
The post holder will work in a small team, working alongside the Professional Lead for Systemic Practice, and an Assistant Psychologist, and help to convene complex networks, and enable young people and families to participate as much as possible in the decision making processes within the network.
This post is open to both internal and external candidates on a fixed term basis for 12 months, however secondments will also be considered for internal staff with management agreement.
Closing date is 17 March, with interviews taking place on Thursday 28th March 2019
