A position has become available in the Voids Control Team as a Voids & Allocations Team Leader for a 12 month period for maternity cover.

The role of the Voids & Allocations Team Leader is to support the Allocations function using a Choice Based Lettings Model in accordance with current statute, the Housing Allocations Policy and best practise. The role will also involve monitoring the Voids Performance and the Void key to key process, ensuring that tenancies are ended correctly and new lettings

are made quickly minimising the void period and making best use of housing stock. A key part of the role will also involve assisting in the formulation, preparation of reports and strategies and their review as relevant to the service area to include involvement in consultation processes with stakeholders.

It will also be necessary to monitor the Mutual Exchange Process and the Older Persons Project to create alternative housing options for all applicants that meet the criteria to move.
