An opportunity has arisen to join the Voids & Allocations Team at Northampton Partnership Homes. Northampton Partnership Homes is an arms-length management organisation, formed in January 2015 that manages around 11,700 homes on behalf of Northampton Borough Council. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for managing the Void Control Team in the delivery of a customer focused service that manages the viewing and allocation of appropriate housing to individuals and families through the housing register. You will be committed to working with the team and partners to achieve common goals and ensure voids performance remains a high priority for all teams within NPH. You will need to have excellent communication skills and take personal responsibility for the Voids Control Team and the Older Persons Project. There will also be a requirement to support and cover the responsibilities of the Rehousing Team Leader when required to so do which will include managing the Housing Register function and the Housing Interventions Team who support vulnerable applicants seeking rehousing and independent living.

It will be necessary to work on various projects and maintain the performance of the Voids function and the processes and procedures detailed in the Northampton Borough Councils Allocations Policies and other related strategies. There will be a requirement to represent NPH with internal and external partner organisations and deliver services that will improve the customer experience when successfully being rehoused. An ability to work flexibly within a fast paced team environment will be absolutely vital to enable a high level of excellent customer service is delivered.

This post will be offered on a 12 month fixed term basis, for internal applicants who wish to apply on a secondment basis, it will be necessary to obtain authorisation from your line manager before applying.
