Procurement Professionals

We are seeking dynamic and motivated Procurement Professionals for a diverse range of roles within our fast paced Procurement service including opportunities as Category managers as well as (experienced) Procurement Officers. A challenging yet rewarding career awaits successful applicants.
You have a choice of location at either Northampton, Milton Keynes or Cambridge

LGSS is one of the UK’s largest public sector shared service operations, delivering a full range of business support services to a variety of public sector organisations. We are not a separate organisation, but a partnership between like-minded organisations, working together to improve efficiency.

Our Procurement service is based across three partner councils, Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire with opportunities potentially across these locations for successful candidates.

Key responsibility in these roles is a focus on the management of all procurement and inventory control activities. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate their procurement experience, qualifications and highlight any recent professional achievements. We are keen to hear from people whether they are:

• looking to grow and develop their career in procurement,
• looking to continue with their established career
• looking to take their next career step within procurement.

In particular we are looking to fill the following roles both permanently or on fixed term 18 month contract across our portfolio for the following roles.
1. Senior Category Manager from £42k or higher depending on experience
2. Category Manager from £37k or higher depending on experience
3. Procurement Officer from £29k or higher depending on experience
4. Procurement Support Officer from £24k or higher depending on experience
