The world is changing. All organisations are feeling it, but the effect across the public sector is redefining. Some people find the changes facing the public sector scary, we believe they present profound opportunities. It is clear that incremental savings will not meet the scale of challenge that the sector faces. We are looking for people who are able to design from blank pieces of paper and step confidently into unknown territory.

We have excellent relationships across public sector partners, and are acutely aware that we do not have all the answers. We are also acutely aware that our residents, partners and employers have many of these answers, and we need to design ways of working that enable us to put these into place. This is the mission for the right candidate. Designing ways of working that deliver the outcomes that our area needs as efficiently and effectively as possible. By changing our organisation and how we work, we believe you can change the lives of a population bigger than that of Norwich, Reading, Oxford or Middlesbrough. The canvas and opportunity is large.

We are looking for bright, creative and brave people: People who can make compelling cases for change, who can convince others that it is the right thing to do, and who are able to work with others to bring it into effect. We’ve called the role Transformation Analyst, but we are not hung up on words, we are after smart people who can identify a problem, quantify it, and then come up with solutions to solve it. It is no more complex than that.

If that sounds like you we would love to hear from you: Age, background, experience all irrelevant. There is the chance that you divide opinion. We are ok with that. This is a rolling recruitment. We will be continually reviewing applications, and will fight hard for the right candidates.

Above all it is essential that you demonstrate behaviours in line with our values and a passion and a commitment to continually seek to innovate and develop our workforce, which will in turn enable us to succeed in our strategic ambitions.

Please contact Oliver Morley, Corporate Director 07810 637 533 or John Taylor, Assistant Director 07810 637522 for an informal discussion or further information about the post.
