The Early Years and Childcare Service is looking for a dedicated Training Officer to join its Training Centre, delivering high quality qualifications training to practitioners throughout Cambridgeshire. This is a permanent role, 30 hours a week, all year.

You will have experience of working within the early years sector, and have achieved Level 3 Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance Award or equivalent (A1, D32/33). The ability to plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive qualifications training which meets the diverse needs of learners is an essential part of the role.

You will be able to adapt your delivery and assessment to individual learning styles, and be comfortable working as part of a team and independently as required.

You will be proactive in learning new skills and developing yourself in the role, and will be willing to work throughout the county, including some evenings and weekends.

Equipping the next generation of early years practitioners with the skills to deliver the best outcomes for children is central to the work of the Early Years & Childcare Service. As a Training Officer you will deliver this vital function, and promote our work more widely.

Because of the importance of this role, we are currently offering a market supplement to enhance the basic salary rate.
