Technologist – Fixed Term Post/Secondment until at least the end of March 2021

An exciting and rare opportunity has presented itself within the Technology Enabled Care Team working across Cambridgeshire. Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and Sensory Services form a part of Prevention and Early Intervention Services in Cambridgeshire which includes; Adult Early Help (AEH), Reablement and Neighbourhood Cares. Combined our services prevent reduce and delay the need for formal care services, support informal carers and help communities to build resilience.

TEC provide guidance, training and advice alongside the loan of various items of assistive technology which might be useful to support independence and maintain safety for people living in Cambridgeshire.

TEC is a fast paced environment working closely with a range of colleagues across the health and social care economy and playing an important part in managing demand on services and improving well-being of those we work with.

The successful candidate(s) will have a positive “can do” attitude with good practical problem solving skills and able to demonstrate strong consistent leadership. You will be motivated, reliable, dependable, self-confident and able to work autonomously and above all, committed to representing our Service and want to be part of a flagship for social care innovation where your flair for finding creative solutions can thrive.

The role(s) of Technologist is offered on a fixed term, full time basis of 37 hours a week and is offered at a S01 £26,470-£28221
