Our Service

Children’s Services at Northamptonshire are in an exciting period of significant transformation; we can confirm that we will become a standalone Trust which will deliver services for two new unitary authorities across the county. We are currently recruiting energetic and passionate social workers to lead and develop high quality services.

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Manager to join our busy Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). There is a service improvement plan to ensure that children get the right service at the right time through an integrated from early help and social care MASH. Signs of safety strengths based approaches led by our principal social worker supports excellent social work practice and is further supported by our Signs of Safety Champions and business support.

We are very excited about creating 4 Pods and a Domestic Abuse Triage Pod within our MASH service. Everyone joining our MASH service will benefit of a bespoke Induction Package and MASH training to ensure work is compliant with the MASH manual. There is also wide range of training provided by the Organisation. Our skilled and motivated MASH service looks forward to you joining us on a journey of continued improvement and development.

The Role

You will manage a Team of 4 MASH Officers and 3 Decision Makers who are responsible for referral information and making informed decisions in respect of safety of children within 24 hours of the referral. You will work collaboratively with our MASH partners and the child’s voice will be evident through your work

The Person

It will be important to you to make a personal contribution towards improving our service. You will be a qualified Social Worker of 3 years+ with current HCPC registration. Your experience could have been gained in MASH, Duty & Assessment or First Response in Children Services and you will need to demonstrate your Management experience.
