We are seeking to recruit to a Fixed Term post ending 31/12/2019. This position may be considered for an internal applicant wishing to take the post as a secondment.

The vision for Children First Northamptonshire Targeted Early Help is to promote the wellbeing and resilience of families and to support the care and nurture of children at home and within their families. Through the provision of high quality and effective services and using a Signs of Safety approach, Targeted Early Help will ensure that children and young people are safe, healthy, aspirational and achieving their full potential in education.

Working across Northamptonshire our aim is to:

Ensure all children get the right early help at the right time and as soon as possible so that all children are safeguarded and receive the support they need.

Ensure that the majority of children do not escalate to a level of need where they require specialist or statutory services.

Ensure that there are established pathways between teams so that families only tell their stories once and vulnerable children are identified quickly.

Provide services and support through a number of channels including online, self-serve information; advice and guidance for professionals as well as group activities or one-to-one keyworker led services for families to which families can self-refer or be referred, with consent, by a trusted professional.

Providing services that are responsive to the voices and lived experience of children using evidence-based interventions that improve outcomes across a range of needs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player for a fixed term contract in the Daventry and South Northants cluster, with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be required to coordinate a caseload and deliver high level complex intervention to children, young people and their families, as well as deliver parenting and other evidence based classes across the locality.
Helping families make changes to their lives by being tenacious and challenging but supportive, is absolutely key.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Children First Northamptonshire, Targeted Early Help Team. We are committed to building a skilled, knowledgeable and flexible workforce promoting innovation and continuous improvement

Do you have the skills and experience to improve life outcomes for the most vulnerable children and young people by enabling their families to successfully and sustainably look after them into adulthood?
