In this role you will work with the Clients to achieve independence, maintain tenancies and develop life skills. You will carry out needs assessments, compile support plans, hold regular review meetings, provide information and support regarding opportunities for education, training and employment and help clients with the initial groundwork required to assist them achieve and maintain a suitable tenancy, such as setting up utility bills and budgeting.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (to include English and Maths) or equivalent. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and previous experience of working with vulnerable people in difficult circumstances and supporting them to make informed choices and decisions about their lives. A working knowledge of housing benefits and other welfare benefits is essential and budgeting skills are an advantage.
