An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Administration role based in Northampton. This is a fixed term post for 6 months.

LGSS is one of the largest public sector shared services ventures of its kind in the UK jointly owned by Cambridgeshire County Council, Milton Keynes Council and Northamptonshire County Council. LGSS deliver a wide range of professional and transactional services to local authorities and other public sector organisations.

If you are highly motivated and want to be rewarded with the scope to work autonomously and with innovation, this is the role for you.
You will be using your great ICT and organisational skills to deliver first line support and have the opportunity to be involved in a varied portfolio of projects.

In the next 6 months you will be supporting user acceptance testing of a major upgrade to the Housing System alongside delivering front line support. You will have the opportunity to gain skills in workflow, report writing, system interfaces and digital delivery.

You will be supporting Customer Service and Social Housing. If you have experience in these areas, great, if you don't, tell me about your brilliant ICT support delivery in your specialist area.

If you have the skills and enthusiasm to deliver great service to LGSS' customers, you will be joining a team that will give you the opportunity to develop your skills, and to work flexibly or part-time if you choose to.
