Working in the Asset Management Team you will be primary responsible for the maintenance of building services to the Council’s properties of all types. It is expected that the post holder will have a general knowledge of a range of building services but will be a specialist in electrical services.

Housing Maintenance & Assets deals with responsive repairs, voids, cyclical and programmed works, major works and refurbishments and also maintains Council owned buildings. We are based at 130 Cowley Road which is close to the road and rail links on the north side of the city. We also have other sites across Cambridge and in the city centre which allows staff to work flexibly.

We are looking for highly motivated, professionals that are skilled in building maintenance and have project and contract management experience .Your knowledge of construction techniques, health and safety legislation and project management will be matched by excellent communication, report writing, and numeracy skills.

You must have excellent customer services skills and be able to deal confidently and pro-actively with all types of queries, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and be IT Literate.

The successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
