We are looking to recruit a Support Worker in our Huntingdon Day services at Huntingdon Community Centre.

We currently operate over three sites, Huntingdon Community Centre (Huntingdon), CATs (St Ives) and Shortsand (St Neots), the successful candidate would be expected to demonstrate a willingness to work flexibly across the service.

The Support Workers are an important part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy, friendly environment supporting adults with a learning disability.

You will work to provide Service Users with the opportunity to gain and maintain skills, to encourage independence and choice.

The role will require you to have good verbal and written communication skills combined with a sensitive and professional approach. A good understanding of equal opportunities, person centred approach and diversity is essential.

As a Support Worker you will provide high quality, outcome driven activities and you will support service users with all aspects of their care. The successful candidate will provide support to colleagues as well as working directly with service users to ensure that their outcomes are met and the service develops and maintains an excellent community profile.
