We are looking for caring, motivated staff either with or without experience in care to empower and facilitate the service users’ independence by recognising the unique nature of each individual’s needs. You would support them to participate in activities and opportunities which are agreed to meet a person’s outcomes as we support people to reach their goals.

We are recruiting for support workers who share our passion for excellent social care and wish to join a friendly, hardworking and experienced team. Our service supports homes and respite stays in the town of March providing support to adults with a disability.

As a Support Worker you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as competent IT skills. To have a sensitive and a professional approach in managing your work and an understanding of equal opportunities, diversity and safeguarding. The role will involve administration of medication, the provision of personal care and the requirement to sleep-in as required as part of a shared rota.

All posts require you to work various shifts during the week (between 7am- 10pm.) The posts available are between 18 to 23hrs a week each post requires you to work two weekends in four as well as selected Bank Holidays as part of a rota for which additional enhancements are paid.

The starting pay for the posts is £9.81 per hour (£14.71 Saturday hours- £17.95 Sunday hours). You will also receive 23 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays.

The posts require an enhanced DBS check to be completed
