You would support them to participate in activities and opportunities which are agreed to meet a person’s outcomes as we support people to reach their goals.

We are recruiting for support workers who share our passion for excellent social care and wish to join a friendly, hardworking and experienced team. Our Supported Living & Respite service supports homes in the town of March providing support to adults with a learning disability who live in their own homes or come along for a Respite stay

As a Support Worker you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as some IT skills. To have a sensitive and a professional approach in managing your work and an understanding of equal opportunities, diversity and safe guarding. The role will involve administration of medication, and the provision of personal care. Previous experience is not essential as a comprehensive training programme will be provided.

All posts require you to work various shifts during the week (between 7am- 10pm.) We have 4 posts available 18hrs, 20hrs, 21hrs and 37hrs per week, each post requires you to work two weekends in four for which additional enhancements are paid, you will also be required to work on selected Bank Holidays as part of a rota.

The starting pay for the posts is £8.82 per hour (£13.32 Saturday hours- £15.69 Sunday hours). You will also receive 23 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays.
